Borrowed time
I’ve been around enough to know
To be free the truth must be told
Follow my heart, and let it separates
All the rest from the gold
Too many roads to take, so many walls to break
I will push myself through the gates
The bigger the lies the more people will believe in it
Like lambs waiting for their fate
This is my new reality
Where the choices are all mine
I’ve decided I will never again
Live my life on borrowed time
I used to feel a shadow over me
Impatience would bring me down
Then a new attitude came out of me
Turning all the things around
I used to feel bad so easily
But what doesn’t kill makes me stronger
I would not let this suffocate my will
I could not take it any longer
This is my new reality
